Prosecutions this month include a non-injury Work at Height case in which the client, management company and roofer himself were fined. Another Work at Height prosecution involved an incident where a man fell from height pulling heavy machinery down on top of him. Asbestos related prosecutions include a case where two men have been jailed for dumping asbestos and a case where employees were exposed to asbestos whilst working on a Blackpool nightclub. A Bolton waste company has been fined £50,000 following an incident where a man had his hand 'de-gloved'. Other cases include two prosecutions resulting from insufficient training for the use of machinery, and a prosecution resulting from an incident where machinery was not properly maintained.
