In this months issue we cover the recent Legionnaires prosecution, the revised corporate manslaughter bill, the importance of segregation on site for vehicles and pedestrians, new guidelines issued by the HSE for shift workers, details on the upcoming revised Fire Law and an article relating to young workers. Recent prosecutions include a Work at Height case, a £75K fine for A-Plant, a £48k fine issued following a lifting operation incident and a prosecution involving a chemical spill.  Recent incidents include the terrible inflatable accident that resulted in two fatalities, an incident where a welder set fire to a £29m block of luxury flats, a case where a man was crushed to death by his lorry hydraulic equipment and a recent incident involving a migrant worker.
