Who will Benefit	The ISOH Working Safely course is a one-day course for staff from any sector with no supervisory or managerial responsibility. It provides a grounding in the essentials of health and safety. The ISOH working safely course is suitable for anyone that would benefit from a general overview of health and safety and its impact on the workplace. Aimed at staff from any sector with no supervisory or managerial responsibility.
Aims of Training	Develop delegate awareness of health and safety issues and ensure that they understand the main hazards associated with the workplace
Training Content	Working safely Hazards - general Hazards specific Improving safety performance At the end of the course the delegates will be able to: understand the basic health and safety issues in the workplace understand their individual responsibilities in the workplace be conscious of major hazards in the workplace understand the need for safe systems of work
Maximum Number of Delegates	12 The course is assessed and moderated by IOSH. IOSH Certificates will only be issued to delegates who pass the health and safety examination
Resources Required	Client to provide: Training room to comfortably accommodate all delegates with 240V power supply. This is a purely theoretical course which includes a short written health and safety assessment Trainer to provide: Training Equipment (course notes and presentation package)
