Safety Pass Alliance (SPA) Passport to Safety

Course Duration	One Day for core module including assessment
Who will Benefit	Personnel at all levels who need a general overview of health and safety and its impact on their work
Aims of Training	The aim of the course is to develop a delegate's awareness of health and safety issues and to ensure that they understand the main health and safety hazards associated with their workplace
Training Content	Safe systems of work and health and safety law Workplace safety Fire precautions and procedures Accidents and first aid Hazardous substances Manual Handling Noise at work
Maximum Number of Delegates	12 The course is assessed and moderated by SPA and a Safety Passport will only be issued to candidates who pass the health and safety examination
Resources Required	Client to provide: Training room to comfortably accommodate all delegates with 240V power supply. This is a purely theoretical course which includes a short written health and safety assessment Trainer to provide: Training Equipment (course notes and presentation package)
