Legislative Requirement	The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 Signalling will be taught to BS 7121
Aims of Training	To allow delegates to learn: Skills and/or clarify their understanding of slinging and the control of lifting operations How to reduce wastage of materials Quicker loading/unloading procedures More accurate placement of materials How to work in a safer environment How to reduce inconvenience to the general public

Resources Required	Client to provide: Access to a fully operational crane and sufficient space to carry out training and/or assessment Training room to comfortably accommodate the delegates with 240V power supply for any theory component of the course Trainer to provide: Training Equipment	Client to provide: As opposite, PLUS Comply with the CITB CPCS equipment/site specification Provide a letter confirming the ‘experience’ of each delegate Provide all the delegate’s National Insurance Numbers Trainer to provide: Training Equipment
