Aims of Training Course	By the end of this COSSH risk assessment course delegates will have a clear understanding of risk and COSHH assessments plus method statements and how to develop these for their own works/workplaces, and to perform their own COSHH Assessments. Topics covered during the training course include: Risk assessment in practice Hazards and Ranking risks The risk assessment form The purpose of method statements The problems with method statements When method statements are required Who should compile method statements How to compile a method statement Sources of information Substances to be assessed Competency to assess EH40 and Control of exposure plus record keeping
Maximum Number of Delegates	15 per course This COSHH assessment training is also run as a public course
Resources Required	Client to provide: Training room to comfortably accommodate all of the delegates with 240V power supply. This is predominately a theoretical training course Trainer to provide: Training Equipment (course notes and presentation package)
