Safe Use and Erection of
Prefabricated Mobile Scaffold Towers

Who will Benefit Anyone who has to erect and work from or who controls the use of prefabricated mobile scaffold towers in the workplace

Aims of Training To ensure that by the end of the mobile scaffold safety course delegates will be able to:
  • Erect and use prefabricated mobile scaffold towers safely
  • Have an understanding of the regulations that apply
  • Carry out necessary inspections
  • Maximum Number of Delegates 10

    All delegates attending on-site training course must have the correct PPE i.e.:
  • safety boots
  • helmet
  • hi-viz jacket
  • Resources Required Client to provide:
  • An area in which to carry out the practical element which must have enough overhead clearance to erect the tower to full height (at least two lifts in training)
  • Actual equipment to be taught - with 10 men, a minimum of two towers would be preferable to ensure maximum participation in practical aspects of the course. These should be equipped with outriggers, toeboards and working platforms with hatches in them
  • Training room to comfortably accommodate all the delegates with 240V power supply for the theory component of the course
