Emergency First Aid at Work

Course Duration	One Day including practical element
Who will Benefit	Any employee, either in support of the dedicated first aider or to simply raise their general first aid awareness
Aims of Training	Delegates will receive training in a range of First Aid subjects including: Aims and principles of first aid Basic life support skills Bleeding Burns and Scalds Unconsciousness First aid boxes and their contents Specific hazards of the workplace This course provides a grounding in basic first aid
Maximum Number of Delegates	10 attendees is the optimum number as each individual is assessed This training is also run as a public course
Resources Required	Client to provide: Training room to comfortably accommodate all the delegates with 240V power supply Trainer to provide: Training Equipment (course notes, first aid equipment for practical element and presentation package)
Clothing	There is a large practical element in the course and the trainees are advised to wear casual clothes as there is a requirement to sit/kneel on the floor during some of the practical exercises
