HIAB/ Lorry Loader Training

Course Duration	One Day - Experienced Up to Five Days - Novice
Suitable for	NPORS: Experienced - Operatives with a minimum of six months continuous experience	Construction Skills CPCS Experienced - Operatives who meet the CITB candidate criteria Novice - Little or no experience
Who will Benefit	Anyone operating or controlling the use of lorry loaders
Legislative Requirement	The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998
Aims of Training	At the end of the course the delegates will be able to: Understand legal responsibilities carry out required inspections Safety operate the machinery
Maximum Number of Delegates	4 men: 1 machine All delegates must have the correct PPE i.e.: safety boots Helmet hi-viz jacket
Resources Required	NPORS - Client to provide: Access to a fully operational dump truck and sufficient space to carry out training and/or assessment Suitable plant equipment with trained operator to load the dumper Training room to comfortably accommodate the delegates with 240V power supply for any theory component of the course Trainer to provide: Training Equipment	ConstructionSkills CPCS - Client to provide: Provide all the delegates National Insurance Numbers Provide all the delegates up-to-date health and Safety Touch Screen Test pass letters constructionKills CPCS training/assessments can only be undertaken at a CPCS registered training centre Trainer to provide: Plant and training equipment
